I have always been attracted to the healing properties of nature. When I was a child my parents would care for my bruises, cuts and infections with herbal salves, essential oils and nutritious soups, spiked with herbs and spices. I was raised in a small, remote, North-Queensland town, where we grew our veggies and herbs in the backyard and got our eggs from our own chickens.

Despite this good grounding in health I had some tough lessons to learn. My health journey has involved battling burnout and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). This led me to seek naturopathic treatment and bring my life back into balance with herbal and nutritional medicines, adequate rest, and changing the way that I ate and what I ate.

These experiences led me to want to help others and I discovered during my studies that I have a passion for evidence-based medicine while still valuing what traditional medicine has taught us. Today my practice has a research-informed backbone and my approach is to conduct a thorough assessment of your health through testing and gathering information about all aspects of your health and how they are affecting your chief concerns. This helps me to create the most effective, individualised and holistic treatment plans. No two people are the same and I love the detective work of getting to the root causes.

I love helping people create healthy families and relish in seeing the difference that it makes when people are given the skills and guidance to really improve their health. It is incredibly rewarding work and it absolutely lights me up. I have specialised in fertility, reproductive health, PCOS, pregnancy and post-partum care for 10 years now and have been mentored by the renowned reproductive health expert Rhiannon Hardingham and renowned nutrition expert Rachel Arthur. I provide mentoring and education in preconception care, PCOS and fertility to practitioners. When I’m not in my office I’m still out getting my feet dirty in the veggie patch.

I look forward to assisting you on your health journey soon.
